Yuck - another boring enclosure course, with long undulations; almost all on gravel tracks so used road shoes, despite a short muddy section; struggled on final hill Lots of NFR Loads of lovely cakes |

| Comments: | NFR away-day; very enjoyable, though not a pb course with all the twists and turns in the mud.
Still I got their new v75 age-category record, plus the top age-grading for the day! |

Very long walk from Ocknells car park to start (even longer going back in the wind and rain); Gravel tracks again (apart from 2 large puddles), undulating; last mile all uphill! Used road shoes; hard run, walked a bit on last hill Lots of NFR Loads of lovely cakes |

Too much tarmac for trail shoes, too much mud for road shoes - slithered about; Forgot barcode, but race director kindly included me into results. |

| Weather: | Bright, biting cold wind (kept jacket on). |
| Comments: | Start at bottom of long hill again (instead of top), plus extra loop down it again, so had to go up it 3 times.
Narrow path over bridge to long downhill (managed to overtake a few), then walked on steep uphill. Back over bridge and down the same narrow path to the bottom of the long hill. Then up on repeat of the slog at the start. Cakes at finish. Didn't stop for coffee. |
